Medi Plus Solution, a digital healthcare affiliate of Korea’s HD Hyundai, has secured an investment of approximately $6 million (KRW 8 billion) from the “KYOBO New Technology Investment Fund No. 1,” a corporate venture capital fund of KYOBO Life Insurance. The company’s health management platform received high praise, particularly in the context of an aging population, the digitalization of healthcare, and growing demand for remote medical services.

The funding will be used to enhance Medi Plus Solution’s customized health solutions and to expand into the insurance sector. The company plans to upgrade its core business, the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), by integrating advanced digital technologies. Key improvements include streamlining scheduling and management of comprehensive health checkups, providing easy access to results, monitoring key health metrics, and offering follow-up care for individuals with medical conditions.
Medi Plus Solution is also entering the supplementary insurance services market. With user consent, the company will provide ongoing expert monitoring and personalized health management solutions, enabling users to actively maintain their health. Additionally, it plans to optimize the value of insurance products by recommending customized solutions tailored to individual needs.
Kim Sang-gyun, CEO of Medi Plus Solution, commented, “This investment enables us to establish a unique position in the digital healthcare market in partnership with KYOBO Life Insurance. We aim to expand our business scope and help more people lead healthier and happier lives.”
