Imagoworks, a South Korean AI digital dentistry solutions provider, has raised $17.8 million (KRW 23 billion) in a Series C funding round. The round was led by Stick Ventures and K2 Investment, with participation from new investors TS Investment, IBK, and Taiwan-based dental-focused private equity firm Trianchor Capital Group (TCG). Existing investors LB Investment and Company K Partners also joined as follow-on investors, bringing Imagoworks’ total funding to $29.4 million (KRW 38 billion).

Founded in 2019, Imagoworks has developed innovative solutions that integrate proprietary 3D CAD technology, AI tailored for 3D medical data, and SaaS functionality accessible directly through web browsers.
In 2022, the company launched “Dentbird Solutions,” a web-based AI platform optimized for digital dental care, focusing on automated dental prosthesis design. The solution serves dentists, dental technicians, and other dental professionals worldwide.
The company stated that this funding validates the growth potential of its AIaaS solutions while reinforcing trust through increased global client acquisition and sales.
Imagoworks currently serves dental professionals in over 110 countries, including major markets like the U.S., Japan, and South Korea. In Japan, its solutions are distributed by Ci Medical, a leading dental distributor with a network of 65,000 clinics and labs, where adoption of Imagoworks’ AI solutions is rapidly increasing.
In June, Imagoworks established a U.S. subsidiary, acquiring a local dental lab to strengthen its North American presence. It also launched AOX, an AI-based full dental restoration service, alongside expanding “Dentbird Solutions” in the region.
The company plans to use the funds to aggressively expand its presence in global dental markets, enhance operations, and scale its AOX dental restoration services in the U.S. It also aims to recruit global talent, expand the clinical applications of its products, and invest further in research and development.
Youngjun Kim, CEO of Imagoworks, said, “This funding, completed amid challenging economic conditions, reflects recognition of our technology and the market competitiveness of our products. We are committed to becoming a true global company through market expansion, aggressive marketing, and sustainable business development.”
