Rebellions, a Korean AI semiconductor startup, has finalized its Series C round by attracting major U.S. venture capital firms including Kindred Ventures and Top Tier Capital Partners as new investors.

Kindred Ventures is a leading Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm that made early investments in innovative companies such as Perplexity and Uber, and has made its first investment in a Korean startup with Rebellions. Top Tier Capital Partners is also a renowned investment firm that has been making direct and indirect investments in funds and startups worldwide for over 20 years.
Rebellions finalized its Series C round, announced last September, by strategically attracting additional key overseas investors. This signifies that a Korean AI semiconductor startup has been recognized for its technological capabilities and growth potential enough to secure Silicon Valley investors like Kindred Ventures, which has continued investing in AI companies such as Perplexity.
Particularly in this round, in addition to securing Arm’s first investment in a Korean startup and attracting global strategic investors including Samsung and Pegatron, Rebellions simultaneously secured North American venture capital investment, demonstrating that it is a company trusted for both technological capabilities and marketability.
This recognition was also confirmed in U.S. market data. According to market research firm CB Insights’ Mosaic Score, Rebellions ranked 2nd globally in the AI inference sector (as of October 2025). This shows that Rebellions is being objectively evaluated for its technological competitiveness and business execution capabilities by U.S. analytical institutions.
With this U.S. investment, Rebellions plans to further strengthen partnerships within the North American market and begin full-scale cooperation with U.S. customers and data center ecosystems. Additionally, the company plans to accelerate securing excellent local talent and strengthening global team capabilities.
Rebellion’s CFO Shin Sung-kyu stated, “In this series, global semiconductor companies like Arm and Silicon Valley innovation VCs such as Kindred Ventures and Top Tier Capital Partners made their first investments in a Korean startup, so we feel a heavy sense of responsibility as a deep tech startup representing Korea. As we’ve established a cooperative foundation with investors from seven countries including the U.S., UK, and Singapore through Series C and laid the groundwork for overseas expansion, we will accelerate U.S. market entry and create substantial results based on this.”
