PG Ventures, a Korean startup accelerator, recently invested in PNK Art, a specialist in art prints, and Barim, a company focused on traditional art products, as part of the Korea Art Management Service‘s “Startup Support Program in the Arts Sector.”

PNK Art curates and showcases sophisticated domestic and international artworks through its brand, collect PINK. The company actively collaborates with emerging local artists to present innovative creations. It also serves as the exclusive distributor in Korea for global art print brands such as PSTR Studio and Studio ROOF, broadening its presence in both domestic and international art markets.
Barim specializes in reinterpreting traditional Korean art with a modern perspective, focusing on developing products inspired by minhwa, traditional Korean folk paintings. Through its brand Yulart, Barim holds exclusive rights to use over 5,000 minhwa-related intellectual properties from the Korea Minhwa Museum and the Joseon Minhwa Museum. By combining the traditional beauty of minhwa with contemporary design, the company is working to expand globally as a representative of K-culture.
Hye-won Kim, CEO of PG Ventures, stated, “PNK Art and Barim are innovative companies that creatively connect art and traditional culture with the public. We will continue to discover promising companies and strive to link them with open innovation and investment opportunities.”
