DOGU Unveils Modular Patrol Robot ‘Robjet S5’ at CES 2025
DOGU, a Korean company specializing in AI autonomous patrol robots, unveiled its newly developed modular robot, Robjet S5, at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, USA.
Following the introduction of the indoor patrol robot ‘iroi’ at CES 2024, DOGU is now showcasing Robjet, a cost-effective and scalable patrol robot, aiming to lead the global market in the popularization and mass adoption of autonomous patrol robots.
Robjet is a robot based on autonomous driving technology, with modular functional components that allow for various designs and customization. Since its successful development in 2024, five versions (S1 to S5) have been produced. The latest model, Robjet S5, along with its dedicated wireless charging station, was unveiled at CES 2025.
Robjet S5 features: ▲ A space-efficient design with a large-capacity cargo compartment capable of carrying up to 20kg ▲ Enhanced stability with 6.5-inch wheels and suspension spring casters, enabling the delivery of fire extinguishers, emergency kits, and medical supplies in hazardous situations.
Additionally, it includes: ▲ A 15-inch ergonomic touch display for robot control, guidance, and advertising ▲ A high-sensitivity microphone array for sound source direction detection ▲ Ultra-fast LTE and WiFi connectivity for improved user convenience.
Notably, Robjet S5 introduces Wibotic’s wireless non-contact charging solution, which significantly reduces fire risks and offers enhanced waterproof and dustproof performance compared to traditional contact-based and wired charging methods.
The robot is also equipped with: ▲ 2D LiDAR ▲ AI cameras ▲ Ultrasonic sensors ▲ Flame detection sensors ▲ Thermal imaging cameras, ensuring stable autonomous navigation and the detection of various hazardous situations.
Jin-hyo Kim, CEO of DOGU, stated, “The Robjet series is the culmination of DOGU’s seven years of focus on patrol robots. It provides cost-effective services such as patrolling, delivery, and guidance in environments requiring physical security. We will solidify our position in the global market with our innovative patrol robot solutions.”
