Wesist Secures Seed Funding to Transform Marketing Workflows with AI Solutions
Korean startup Wesist, focused on enhancing marketing workflows through AI, has secured seed funding from Klim Ventures.

Wesist’s CEO, Hongjun Ahn, is an AI expert who won the Best Paper Award at the 2023 ISMRM (International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine) conference while pursuing his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Seoul National University. The founding team, all alumni of Gyeongnam Science High School, established Wesist based on their long-standing connection. The company aims to lead the digital transformation of the marketing industry by delivering practical value across marketing operations through AI technology and fostering a smarter, more efficient environment.
Wesist explained, “With the rise of social media platforms, the advertising market has shifted rapidly from traditional TV commercials to short-form and post-style content, creating an environment where global exposure can be achieved effectively at lower costs. The K-beauty phenomenon, in particular, has been significantly influenced by such viral marketing.”
To address the challenges marketers face due to the explosive growth of content—spending excessive time on repetitive tasks like trend analysis and ad management—Wesist is developing AI-powered automation solutions.
The company’s technological strengths have also earned it a spot in the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ TIPS (Tech Incubator Program for Startups). Recently, Wesist launched ADrics, a service designed to provide integrated ad performance tracking.
Honggyu Nam, CEO of Klim Ventures, expressed strong confidence in the team, stating, “Wesist has the ability to identify customers’ pain points and address them with its advanced AI technology. The founding team has shown exceptional dedication and persistence, which inspires trust.”
Hongjun Ahn, CEO of Wesist, shared the company’s vision: “With this investment, we plan to further enhance our technology for processing and searching unstructured data, such as images and videos in social media content. Our goal is to help marketers focus on more creative activities by automating repetitive tasks through AI. By revolutionizing current workflows and eliminating inefficiencies, we aim to establish a new standard in the marketing industry.”
