CCFNB Secures Investment to Expand Korean Dak-kkochi to Global Markets

Chungchun FNB (CCFNB), a South Korean company, announced on the 14th that it has secured investments from AUM Ventures and a U.S.-based investor to accelerate its global expansion. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

The company stated, “This investment underscores CCFNB’s potential for global growth and expansion. It represents a key milestone in bringing our vision of globalizing K-FOOD, centered around Dak-kkochi (Korean-style Chicken Skewers), to life.”

Since 2024, CCFNB has been working to introduce Korea’s Dak-kkochi to the global stage, with a vision of establishing it as a globally recognized food. As part of its efforts, the company is developing an innovative, food-tech-based automated skewer cooking robot.

This robot leverages Vision AI technology to automate cooking processes and quality checks, ensuring consistent taste and quality while optimizing operational efficiency. In 2025, CCFNB plans to open its first U.S. store in Orange County, California, featuring a fast-food chicken skewer concept, marking the beginning of its full-scale expansion into the American market.

Seyoun Um, CEO of AUM Ventures, said, “CCFNB is a brand that perfectly blends Korea’s tradition with modern sensibilities, offering a unique and competitive position in the global market. We are excited to support CCFNB’s journey as it accelerates its global growth.”

The funds raised will be used for building the brand in the U.S., opening new stores, and developing localization strategies. CCFNB aims to boost brand recognition by creating menus tailored to local tastes and strengthening its digital marketing efforts, setting a new standard in the global chicken skewer market.

Jinwan Park, CEO of CCFNB, shared his aspirations: “This investment brings us closer to achieving our goal of becoming the world’s leading chicken skewer company. We will continue to pursue sustainable growth and innovation to establish ourselves as a flagship brand representing K-FOOD.”
