MYSC and KOICA Host ‘2025 Global Impact Chapter in Vietnam’ Event

MYSC hosted the “2025 Global Impact Chapter in Vietnam” event on March 24 in Ho Chi Minh City, in collaboration with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). The event, themed “Convergence in Action: Impact Investing Based on Blended Finance,” attracted over 60 participants, including investors, experts, and startups interested in impact investing and blended finance.

Drawing on a decade of deep understanding as an ecosystem builder in Vietnam, MYSC organized the event to provide a comprehensive view of the country’s startup and impact ecosystem. The program highlighted efforts in the upstream sector, focusing on government and policy initiatives that lay the foundation for the ecosystem, as well as venture capital’s role in attracting capital and nurturing players. Additionally, the event showcased startups actively working to solve real-world problems and shared practical examples of blended finance as a strategic tool for innovation.

Key partners such as the Vietnam Impact Investing Network (VIIN), which MYSC has maintained long-standing ties with in Vietnam, as well as CSIP and Fulbright University, participated in the event, exchanging insights on the impact ecosystem and collaboration experiences.Kim Jung-Tae, CEO of MYSC, emphasized that “Impact investing is not merely about financial support; it is an investment in the entire ecosystem.” He also noted that, in partnership with Vietnam’s National Innovation Center (NIC), MYSC plans to continue sharing the experiences and strengths of both countries while respecting the region’s needs, furthering collaborative growth.
