HireDiversity Raises  USD 3.7M in SeriesA to Enhance Service Platform for Foreign Student

HireDiversity, a Korean startup operating foreign resident administration and convenience service platform “HireVisa,” has successfully secured approximately USD 3.7 million (KRW 5 billion) in Series A funding. This round saw participation from Stonebridge Ventures and Murex Partners, bringing the company’s total accumulated investment to approximately USD 4.4 million (KRW 6 billion).

HireDiversity’s flagship service, “HireVisa,” has become an essential app for foreign students residing in Seoul, with over 81% of them utilizing the platform. The service has partnered with more than 105 universities nationwide and provides intuitive UI/UX-based administrative and convenience services for foreign residents in South Korea. By eliminating the need for in-person visits to government offices or digital certificates, HireVisa significantly enhances user convenience for essential administrative procedures.

Universities that have adopted HireDiversity’s foreign student management services have demonstrated outstanding performance in regulatory evaluations. In the 2025 Education Internationalization Competency Certification and Foreign Student Attraction and Management Assessment, 100% of participating institutions met the required criteria, with 87% being officially recognized as certified universities.

Lee Jong-hyun, Executive Director of Stonebridge Ventures, stated, “South Korea is experiencing a sharp decline in its working-age population due to low birth rates and an aging society, which is expected to lead to a significant drop in productivity and consumption. Given that HireDiversity is positioned as the first touchpoint for foreigners before they even arrive in Korea, its business model is well-suited to providing or facilitating essential living services to help them settle. We saw great potential in this model and decided to invest with high expectations.”

Baek Hee-jung, Executive Director of Murex Partners, commented, “South Korea faces labor shortages due to declining birth rates and an aging population, while demand for foreign students and workers continues to rise. Despite this, service offerings for foreign residents have remained inadequate. We believe that HireDiversity, with its outstanding technological capabilities, will become a key player in providing essential settlement services for foreigners in Korea.”

HireDiversity expressed its commitment to resolving challenges in the foreign resident market and attracting top talent to further enhance its service offerings.
