Vision AI Startup ‘Dabeeo’ Raises $8.2M to Expand Defense and Plantation AI Platforms

Dabeeo, a Korean vision AI-based data intelligence startup, has raised $8.2 million (12 billion KRW) in funding. Eight investors participated in the round, including major financial institutions Nonghyup Bank and NH Investment & Securities, along with existing investors.

The company says the investment validates both its proprietary vision AI technology and its platform’s scalability across core vertical markets, giving it strong momentum for J-curve growth ahead of its planned IPO.

Dabeeo specializes in analyzing complex vision data to support mission-critical decision-making. The company has developed the Dabeeo Intelligence Platform, a vision AI engine that fuses and analyzes multi-sensor imagery—including EO, IR, and SAR—collected from satellites, aircraft, and drones. The platform uses AI to automatically detect changes over time and space while precisely identifying objects, extracting the key intelligence customers need for immediate decision-making.

Building on this powerful core AI engine, Dabeeo has launched platform businesses in high-barrier vertical markets, setting the stage for J-curve growth.

“This investment shows that the market recognizes Dabeeo’s ability to fundamentally transform how mission-critical industries make decisions through vision AI data intelligence,” said Juheum Park, CEO of Dabeeo. “We’ll use the capital to enhance the Dabeeo Intelligence Platform and accelerate expansion of our defense and global plantation AI platforms.”

He added, “Our goal is to be the essential partner that helps customers extract clear intelligence from complex vision data, enabling faster and more accurate decision-making.”
