South Korean AI startup SuperNgine, known for its proprietary style-preserving image generation technology, has secured a Series A investment from SmartStudy Ventures. The funding will accelerate SuperNgine’s advancement in AI development and its expansion into global markets.

SuperNgine has developed its own Pure Model AI technology, which precisely learns and replicates an artist’s unique drawing style. This enables the generation of consistent and personalized images across webtoons, illustrated books, and game graphics. Rather than simply generating images, the company’s core value lies in preserving the creator’s artistic identity—garnering recognition for its practicality and ethical approach.
With the goal of making AI a supportive tool for creators rather than a replacement, SuperNgine plans to expand its solution across various content creation sectors including webtoons, games, and videos. The company is committed to developing technology that amplifies creativity without compromising artistic integrity, guided by its philosophy of “AI that protects the artist’s style.”
SuperNgine aims to play a pivotal role in building a fair and ethical culture for AI use within the content industry, while also working to establish itself as a competitive AI technology company on the global stage.
