Upvalue, a South Korea-based fintech education platform startup, has secured Series A investment from TS Investment. Originally launched as a data-centric real estate auction solution provider, Upvalue has evolved into a comprehensive financial education platform by leveraging a growing repository of real-world data and case studies. This content-driven approach has helped Upvalue build a loyal community of users, which the company has successfully converted into educational offerings and digital solutions.
Distinguishing itself from traditional education platforms, Upvalue emphasizes hands-on, experience-based learning, which has significantly enhanced both trust and learning outcomes among its users.
Remarkably, since its inception, Upvalue has operated profitably without recording operating losses. In 2024, the company reported approximately USD 3.3 million(KRW 4.5 billion) in consolidated revenue and approximately USD 370,000(KRW 500 million) in operating profit.
Leveraging its in-house content development capabilities, Upvalue has cultivated a strong creator ecosystem and rapidly expanded its fan base to over 130,000 followers across social platforms such as YouTube and Instagram. Through its unique creator management system, the company is broadening its educational focus to include areas like real estate, stock investment, and entrepreneurship.
TS Investment Director Daeyeol Lee, who led the round, commented, “Upvalue provides systematic, data-based real estate solutions and has achieved a stable revenue model. Their differentiated content has earned strong trust from learners in the B2C financial education market. With growing interest in personal finance among younger generations, Upvalue is well-positioned to offer timely and relevant content while sustaining steady growth.”
Lee further emphasized TS Investment’s commitment to ongoing collaboration, stating, “We plan to support Upvalue beyond the B2C sector, helping them establish a lasting competitive advantage in the broader financial education landscape.”
Upvalue CEO Minkun Jeon noted, “The Korean B2C financial education market is highly competitive, with numerous players providing quality content tailored to learner needs. Our goal is to carve out a niche among younger audiences with a differentiated education platform, powered by internally developed core content and a strong community. With this investment, we aim to further enhance our platform and content, solidifying our competitive edge.”
