Korean environmental startup Flux has secured seed funding from MYSC. Flux is developing next-generation battery technology to address climate change and enhance energy efficiency. The company focuses on lithium-metal anode materials and vacuum PVD-based thin-film technology, possessing core process technologies that enable high-performance, long-lasting, and highly efficient batteries. Its strength lies in significantly reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions compared to conventional battery manufacturing processes.

Flux has rapidly grown while participating in the “2025 Youth Green Startup Spring Camp (EMA-Green PLUS),” supported by the Ministry of Environment and the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute and operated by MYSC.
Park Jung-ho, Vice President of MYSC, who led the investment, stated, “Flux’s technology is expected to see high demand not only in Korea but also in markets like the U.S., driven by its exceptional technological capabilities in the battery and energy sectors. We anticipate that Flux’s innovative next-generation battery and perovskite solar cell technologies will significantly improve energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, promote eco-friendly energy transitions, and create impactful contributions to global environmental protection and economic efficiency.”
