Linkbricks Horizon AI, a rising AI full-stack platform company, has secured approximately USD 1.5 million(KRW 2 billion) in seed funding from BetterGround, Linkbricks Ventures, and IXV. This investment marks a significant milestone for Linkbricks Horizon AI, positioning it as a frontrunner in the rapidly expanding AI market.

Founded in January 2025 by Yoon-Sung Ji, Chairman of Linkbricks, Yong-Jun Hyung, founder of Cyworld and KAIST professor, and Sang-Kyu Kim, CEO of Linkbricks, the company boasts a robust leadership team. The founding team is further strengthened by executives from Hancom, Naver, and Kakao, enhancing its technical and business capabilities. Yoon-Sung Ji also serves as the CEO of Linkbricks Horizon AI.
Within just two months of its establishment, the company earned venture certification and secured three AI inference and search-related patents through expedited review, demonstrating its rapid progress in AI technology development.
Linkbricks Horizon AI’s full-stack platform integrates the entire AI development process, from large language model (LLM) creation to business workflow integration and service deployment. Its standout feature is the ability to enable simultaneous, bidirectional AI interaction across text, voice, and visuals, setting it apart in the industry.
The company’s lightweight small-scale large language model (sLLM), developed through its platform, has already garnered global recognition. In the “Open LLM Leaderboard Season 2,” it ranked 10th overall and secured 2nd place among models under 32B parameters, marking it as the highest-ranking sLLM from a Korean company in the competition. Additionally, in the “Open Ko-LLM Leaderboard,” co-operated by the National Information Society Agency and Upstage, three of Horizon AI’s Korean-language sLLMs achieved 1st, 2nd, and 7th places as of November 13, 2024, underscoring their superior performance.
Yoon-Sung Ji, CEO of Linkbricks Horizon AI, stated, “Our patented technology enables AI to simultaneously recognize text, voice, facial expressions, gestures, and environmental inputs for interactive dialogue. We plan to launch a multimodal AI-enhanced search service globally before the end of 2025.” He added, “In the B2B sector, our platform is already driving projects in defense, healthcare, and retail.”
