Rebellions, a leading Korean AI semiconductor startup, has announced a strategic partnership with Marvell Technology, a global semiconductor leader, to co-develop customized AI systems tailored to meet the growing demand for sovereign AI infrastructure in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Middle East regions.

As artificial intelligence emerges as a critical driver of national competitiveness, the demand for domain-specific, customized AI systems is surging, moving beyond standardized, general-purpose GPU-based infrastructure. Governments, regional cloud providers, and global hyperscale companies are increasingly seeking next-generation AI systems that offer scalability and energy efficiency to support state-led AI projects and localized infrastructure needs.

Through this collaboration, Rebellions will leverage Marvell’s advanced custom design platform to develop tailored AI inference semiconductors. The partnership will harness Marvell’s cutting-edge technologies, including advanced packaging, high-speed Serializer/Deserializer (SerDes), and Die-to-Die interconnect solutions, to deliver integrated AI infrastructure that scales from individual servers to entire rack-level systems. This approach aims to achieve both high performance and energy efficiency, addressing the unique requirements of sovereign AI deployments.
