Neubility, a Korean startup specializing in autonomous outdoor robot solutions, has secured an approximately USD 730,000(KRW 1 billion) investment from Crit Ventures. Led by CEO Song Jae-joon, Crit Ventures highly evaluated Neubility’s technological capabilities and market expansion potential, prompting this investment decision.

Neubility is a startup that has developed and commercialized its autonomous delivery robot “Neubie,” alongside the robot management platform “NeubieGo” and the ordering app “NeubieOrder.” By offering an integrated Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) model encompassing hardware, software, and platforms, Neubility has established a unique competitive edge in the market.
The company boasts the most extensive Proof-of-Concept (PoC) experience in South Korea’s outdoor mobile robot industry and possesses proprietary software technology enabling low-cost urban navigation. Leveraging operational and service optimization expertise gained through real-world deployments, Neubility is leading the industry.
Neubility’s flagship product, the autonomous delivery robot “Neubie,” utilizes proprietary camera and sensor technologies instead of costly LiDAR or GPS Inertial Navigation Systems (GINS) used by competitors. This approach enables stable autonomous navigation in urban environments while significantly reducing costs. Furthermore, Neubility’s technology operates without the need for detailed mapping, reducing setup time to three days—approximately one-tenth of competitors’ timelines—achieving groundbreaking cost and efficiency improvements.
Currently, Neubility operates a formal delivery service with Yogiyo and has planned PoCs with companies such as Barogo and Rakuten. Beyond delivery, the company is expanding into the security sector, supplying patrol and security robots to Lotte Innovate. Neubility is also making strides in the global market, conducting PoCs in Saudi Arabia’s NEOM City and with the South Florida Security Group in the United States, laying the groundwork for international expansion.
With this investment, Neubility plans to develop “Neubility Sense,” a camera-based autonomous module that can be integrated into various robot platforms, including quadruped robots. This technology enables precise and safe navigation in complex urban or hazardous environments. The company aims to expand this technology through a licensing model, integrating it into service robots for patrol, security, firefighting, and other applications to accelerate commercialization and market penetration. Neubility also plans to expand its services to global markets, including the Middle East, North America, and Japan, to establish a competitive international presence.
Im Yong-muk, a team leader at Crit Ventures, praised Neubility, stating, “Neubility is a leading player in the autonomous robot sector, with applications in delivery, security, and logistics.” He added, “Given the absence of a dominant global leader in this field, we expect Neubility to become a global frontrunner, leveraging its unparalleled technology, extensive data, and proven business model.”
