Splab, “Umoh AI: Fully Automated 10K+ Attendee Conferences Start here.”
Events industry faces a persistent challenge: networking at conferences and exhibitions often remains superficial, rarely translating into meaningful business relationships. Traditional event management platforms focus primarily on registration and check-in processes, leaving organizers without clear ROI metrics and participants without valuable connections. This structural inefficiency costs the industry billions in unrealized opportunities each year.
Enter Splab Inc., a Korean startup that’s transforming how business events create lasting value. Their flagship platform, Umoh, integrates AI-powered business matching with real-time event operations and comprehensive data analytics, turning one-time encounters into sustainable business opportunities. The platform has already been deployed at over 100 major B2B events across Korea, the United States, and Japan, including high-profile conferences hosted by AWS Korea, Nexon, Knowledge Graph Conference(NYC), KOOM(NYC) and various international venues.
What sets Umoh apart is its end-to-end approach. Before events, AI algorithms create participant profiles and analyze interests to recommend optimal meeting matches. During events, QR-based real-time check-in and instant badge printing minimize wait times. After events, sophisticated data dashboards quantify ROI and enable targeted follow-up marketing.
The company has secured ISO 9001, 27001, and 37301 international certifications, demonstrating global-standard security and reliability. With paid customers in the U.S. and Japan, Splab is rapidly expanding its footprint in the $500 billion global events market.
Splab Inc. is participating in the 2025 Tourism Global Challenge, a program organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization, and operated by CNTTech. Through this program, the company has gained invaluable access to local events associations, major exhibition operators, and international trade show opportunities, accelerating their market validation in the U.S., UAE, and Singapore. The support has been instrumental in connecting Splab with key industry players and facilitating booth participation at global exhibitions.
We sat down with the Splab team to discuss their vision for transforming business networking into measurable outcomes.
What specific problem is your team solving?
At domestic and international exhibitions, conferences, and tourism-related events, business networking is often superficial and limited to one-time exchanges that don’t lead to actual business opportunities. Existing event management platforms are centered on participant registration and access control, making it difficult to maintain relationships after events and measure ROI. Splab Inc. aims to solve these structural problems: networking inefficiency and the absence of performance measurement.
How does your solution address this problem?

Our Umoh platform integrates data-driven management across the entire event lifecycle—before, during, and after. AI analyzes participant profiles and interests to recommend optimal business matches in advance. On-site, we provide QR-based real-time check-in and badge printing. Post-event, our data analytics dashboard quantifies ROI. This way, organizers get clear performance metrics, and participants gain meaningful meetings that lead to real business opportunities.
What gives you a competitive edge over other platforms? What are your technical advantages?
Umoh excels in AI-based personalized matching algorithms and real-time on-site integration—badge printing and check-in technology. We analyze participant behavior data and meeting success rates in real-time, providing intuitive dashboards. Even after events end, we support sophisticated targeted advertising and follow-up marketing to create sustainable business opportunities. We’ve also obtained ISO 9001, 27001, and 37301 international certifications, ensuring global-level security and reliability.
What products and services do you offer, and what’s their current status?

Our core product is Umoh, a B2B event operations SaaS platform consisting of three main modules: participant management and on-site operations, an AI business matching engine, and data analytics and marketing tools.
The participant management module automates online pre-registration, QR-based real-time check-in, instant on-site badge printing, and session scheduling—minimizing wait times and saving significant time and resources for organizers.
The AI matching engine analyzes participant profiles, interests, and past behavior data in real-time to recommend optimal meeting partners. It supports pre-event meeting reservations and on-site 1:1 matching, moving beyond simple business card exchanges to concrete business collaboration.
The data analytics module collects and visualizes all activity data generated during events, providing ROI dashboards. Even after events, it supports sustainable business expansion through follow-up marketing, targeted advertising, and connections to local tourism products based on participant data.
Customers can select desired features modularly or customize through API integration and design customization to fit their event characteristics. For example, global conferences can enhance high-speed check-in and badge printing capabilities, while tourism-linked exhibitions can integrate follow-up tourism product recommendations and local advertising modules.
Currently, Umoh is in the market validation and early expansion phase, having already secured paid customers in the U.S. and Japan, demonstrating global scalability. The platform has been used by big logos including AWS Korea, Nexon, Seoul Business Agency, and Venture Tokyo Cafe, with real-time check-in, AI matching, and data analysis functions being provided as commercial services.
However, we’re continuously improving several technical challenges for global expansion—such as real-time data processing stability in ultra-large events with massive concurrent users, multilingual automatic translation and localization quality for diverse language regions, and algorithm sophistication to improve AI matching accuracy. These are areas our development team is intensively working on.
In other words, Umoh is already a commercial solution being used at customer sites, while continuously evolving to reflect the specific demands of global large-scale conferences.
What’s the size of your target market, and who are your core customers?
