LBStech Wins CES 2026 Best of Innovation Award with ‘MaaS-Bridge’
LBStech, a developer of smart mobility solutions based on pedestrian environment data, announced that it has won the 2026 CES (Consumer Electronics Show) Best of Innovation Award for its ‘MaaS-Bridge’ service.

The CES Innovation Awards program, organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), recognizes products with outstanding design and technology across 36 categories at the world’s largest consumer electronics show held annually in Las Vegas each January. Each category’s highest-scoring product receives the Best of Innovation Award. LBStech secured this top honor in the ‘Travel & Tourism’ category.
MaaS-Bridge is a Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) solution that functions as an AI-powered accessible mobility connection point design system. The platform identifies optimal ‘mobility points’—connection zones between vehicles and pedestrian paths including boarding and alighting locations, transfer points for cars and public transportation—while providing last-mile navigation to final destinations.
The solution stands out by addressing physical barriers between future mobility services integrated with autonomous driving technology and pedestrian environments. It recommends optimal mobility points customized for diverse user groups including wheelchair users, visually impaired individuals, elderly people, tourists with luggage, and families, taking into account vehicle types and environmental characteristics of nearby pedestrian routes.
LBStech is actively expanding its last-mile services internationally following a 2025 contract with the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) in the UK. Last month, the company completed demonstration testing of its mobile solution in Birmingham, receiving strong praise from participants for its AR technology-based route guidance. Through a collaboration with Aston University, LBStech will spend the next four years developing a digital twin control system using pedestrian path data to conduct standard research on UK pedestrian infrastructure and autonomous driving.
The company has validated its global market potential through demonstration projects in multiple countries including Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City, New York in the US, Barcelona in Spain, and various domestic locations. LBStech plans to accelerate its expansion into European and North American markets following this CES recognition.
CEO Sewan Lee commented, “As autonomous driving technology advances, connection points bridging vehicles and pedestrian paths are essential for seamless travel to final destinations.” Regarding the award, he added, “We will evolve MaaS-Bridge beyond a mere technology into a global standard system enabling comfortable mobility for everyone.”https://en.wowtale.net/2025/10/02/232300/
