DoubleT Secures Funding to Accelerate Sensor-based AI-Powered Industrial Safety Solutions ‘HAIMDALL’
DoubleT, a Korean startup specializing in AI-powered industrial safety solutions, has secured funding from Seoul Techno Holdings.

DoubleT’s HAIMDALL solution is an AI system that collects and analyzes real-time location data from industrial sites using location sensor technology (BLE/UWB/GPS) to detect hazardous situations in advance. Compared to existing sensor-based competitors, the solution has simplified its system architecture by adopting advanced technologies such as UWB and Bluetooth 5.0 or higher. Beyond simple information detection, it incorporates predictive AI technology that calculates accident probability to enable proactive prevention.
The HAIMDALL solution can be deployed at approximately one-tenth the cost of conventional systems, making it accessible even to small-scale workplaces. According to Korea’s Ministry of Employment and Labor, 90% of workplaces that violate industrial accident prevention measures are small businesses with fewer than 50 employees, and 47% of all small and medium-sized enterprises lack proper occupational safety and health management systems (as of 2024). Budget constraints are cited as the primary reason (57.9%), with 60% of serious industrial accidents and 80% of all industrial accidents occurring at small and medium-sized enterprises.
In addition to its industrial safety AI system, DoubleT operates a diversified business portfolio including physical security systems (revenue of $3 million (4.4 billion KRW) in 2024), IT infrastructure deployment services, and Jikguround, an overseas direct purchase intermediary service (revenue of $6.8 million (9.9 billion KRW) in 2024).
Through this investment, DoubleT plans to accelerate technology development and product enhancement to deliver solutions that meet market demands more quickly and accurately.
Regarding the investment decision, Seoul Techno Holdings stated, “While interest in industrial safety has grown since the implementation of the Serious Accidents Punishment Act, existing video-based solutions have been difficult for small and medium-sized enterprises to access due to their high-cost structure. DoubleT’s sensor-based HAIMDALL solution offers competitive advantages that make it accessible even to small-scale workplaces.”
“We expect demand for solutions that address on-site safety issues by combining AI and IT technology to expand further in the increasingly stringent regulatory environment, including the Serious Accidents Punishment Act,” said Seunghwan Mok. “We anticipate that DoubleT will demonstrate strong growth potential amid these changes.”
Youngjun Kim, CEO of DoubleT, expressed gratitude for securing the investment from Seoul Techno Holdings and added, “As expectations and demand in the industrial safety market are rapidly expanding, we are pleased that this investment enables us to provide solutions that meet market standards more quickly and accurately. The recognition of our technological capabilities and growth potential by Seoul Techno Holdings holds great significance for us. We will accelerate our efforts toward high-quality technology development and product enhancement.”
