TrueValue Raises $1.36M Series A to Develop Education and HR Integrated AI SaaS and Expand to Japan

Korean Edtech startup TrueValue has secured $1.36 million USD (2 billion KRW) in Series A funding, bringing its cumulative funding to $3.4 million USD (5 billion KRW). The round was led by new investors ScaleUp Ventures, Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, and People Investment.

TrueValue has established a strong position in the edtech market through its smart career education brand “EverMento” and self-realization platform “DreamAppeal.”

Moving away from traditional teacher- and curriculum-centered career education, the company has built a digital career education environment where students can set their own goals and engage in self-directed career activities.

Launched in April 2022, DreamAppeal has shown rapid growth, accumulating 70,000 users, 400,000 completed activities, and 7 million interactions. EverMento has also demonstrated market competitiveness with revenue growth exceeding 400% year-over-year.

The company’s online assignment management learning management system (LMS) “MyMissionStudio” (MMS), unveiled for the first time at the 2025 Edutech Korea Fair this year, received the Minister of Education Award.

With the new funding, TrueValue plans to develop Korea’s first education and HR integrated growth data AI SaaS and to establish a foundation for global expansion through localization of DreamAppeal for the Japanese market.

Jooyoung Jung, CEO of TrueValue, said the investment has validated the company’s services and market response, adding that the company will focus on commercialization to achieve stable service establishment in both domestic and international markets.
