Global medical matching platform CloudHospital has closed its Series A funding round, bringing cumulative investment to $5.82 million (KRW 8.5 billion). The specific amount raised in this round was not disclosed.

Friend Investment Partners and SJ Investment Partners participated in the round. The funds will expand the global hospital SaaS network, advance AI-powered medical marketing and communication engines, establish overseas subsidiaries, and strengthen localized marketing.
CloudHospital operates a global medical SaaS platform connecting hospitals with patients across over 40 languages, leveraging data from more than 120,000 medical institutions worldwide. Hospitals can directly manage international patient inquiries, consultations, appointments, payments, and follow-up care through the AI-powered platform—eliminating the traditional broker-centered model.
Since launching in Korea 10 months ago, 80 hospitals have adopted the platform, with plans to reach over 300 by 2026. The model combines B2B hospital SaaS with B2C patient connections, enabling direct AI-powered patient management while maintaining profitability and scalability. International patient inquiries have surged 340% year-over-year over the past six months.
CloudHospital recently partnered with Microsoft on AI healthcare technology. Using Azure OpenAI infrastructure, they’re co-developing specialized multilingual medical models, global marketing automation, and communication engines that let hospitals manage everything from AI-powered marketing to multilingual communication, patient inquiry analysis, medical record summarization, and automated feedback—all within one platform.
CEO Nazarov said CloudHospital is building infrastructure that empowers hospitals to independently reach global markets. “Through AI and data, we support hospitals in attracting and managing international patients directly without brokers,” he stated. “We’re establishing a new global standard where everything—from treatment and marketing to communication and follow-up care—operates as a one-stop solution.”
He added that this investment marks a turning point in restructuring the medical tourism market around a platform-centered model. “CloudHospital’s goal is to become the operating system for global hospitals.”
