Draftype Secures Series A Funding to Expand AI-Powered Advertising Platform
Draftype, a big data and AI-powered advertising solution company, secured Series A funding from ILSHIN Investment.

Draftype provides integrated solutions across the entire advertising value chain—from strategy development and creative production to media planning and platform development. The company serves major brands like Shinsegae Duty Free and Mediheal, along with advertising agencies.
Investors particularly valued Draftype’s rare combination of software and hardware development capabilities.
Beyond its portfolio of over 10 data-based marketing solutions, the company independently designed and developed the ‘Myeongdong Following Media’—Korea’s first motor-engine-based moving outdoor advertising platform. Draftype has also secured 10 patents covering technologies ranging from rotating billboard control systems to customized ad transmission platforms and generative AI imaging.
The company’s financial trajectory reflects this technical focus. Draftype’s revenue is set to jump from $275,000 (400 million KRW) in 2024 to approximately $2.07 million (3 billion KRW) in 2025—a 7.5-fold increase driven by its decision to build a workforce where half are data engineers, ML engineers, and other technical specialists.
An ILSHIN Investment Partners representative said, “We saw an opportunity to transform a 20 trillion KRW advertising market through AI and data technology. Many companies excel at either software or hardware, but Draftype stands out with its execution capability across the entire spectrum—from data analysis to physical media hardware development.”
The fresh capital will go toward expanding the development team and advancing AI and data solutions. Draftype plans to integrate its existing tools into a unified advertising platform, targeting $6.9 million (10 billion KRW) in revenue by 2026.
CEO Daehee Kim said, “This investment lets us move beyond building individual solutions toward full-scale expansion. We’re building an efficient advertising infrastructure where every step—from strategy to execution—connects through data and AI, giving advertisers a truly integrated experience.”
