K-Pop Fan Travel Platform Celetrip Secures $1.1M Government Backing
Favement, the entertech startup behind Celetrip, has landed a spot in the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ Global TIPS program, unlocking approximately $1.1 million (1.6 billion KRW) in funding to scale its global K-Pop fan travel platform.

The three-year program backs startups with proven international market potential, providing R&D and commercialization support to help them expand overseas.
With over 50,000 users already exploring Korea through their favorite artists’ eyes, Celetrip is driving the digital shift in content tourism. The platform maps out celebrity hotspots and filming locations, delivers audio tours narrated in artists’ voices, and bundles concert packages tailored for international fans traveling to Korea.
Favement will use the funding to sharpen its AI-driven recommendation engine and voice technology. By analyzing fan behavior and travel preferences, the platform will generate personalized itineraries, while upgraded text-to-speech capabilities will make audio guides feel like fans are actually touring with their idols.
“This selection validates our approach to blending content, AI, and tourism,” said Jieun Han, Favement’s CEO. “The funding gives us runway to refine the product and push harder into global markets. Our goal is to become the go-to platform fans trust when they travel for K-Pop.”
Since launch, Favement has grown rapidly, recently cracking the App Store’s top 40 in its category. The company has also signed partnerships with Weverse, Amorepacific, and FNC Entertainment to expand its IP-driven fan experience offerings.
