Search OS Raises Seed Funding from Futureplay to Automate AI Search Optimization for Large-Scale Platforms
Search OS, a Korean startup developing an automated Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) solution for large-scale platforms, has secured seed funding from Futureplay. The size of the investment was not disclosed.

Founded in June 2025, Search OS is building Search OS, a GEO platform designed to help businesses get their websites discovered and cited by AI search engines such as ChatGPT and Gemini. The platform automates the full pipeline — from search infrastructure setup and content structure optimization to data analytics — enabling companies to adapt to the AI-driven search landscape without relying on dedicated developers or marketing teams. According to the company, Search OS can have a business’s AI search infrastructure up and running in as little as 30 minutes, with AI agents continuously analyzing market data and search trends to automatically generate and update web pages.
At the core of Search OS’s technology is a large-scale crawling infrastructure and an AI agent-based search operations automation engine. The company has developed a proprietary rendering system that addresses crawling bottlenecks common in client-side rendering (CSR)-based websites, with the goal of increasing page indexing speeds by AI search engines by up to 300 times. Its in-house data crawling and analytics infrastructure tracks search trends, community sentiment, and competitor content performance, using those insights to automatically create or revise website pages and content.
The company is currently engaged in collaborative projects with global enterprises and platform companies and has accumulated experience designing search infrastructure for high-security environments, including public-sector systems.
Yun-mo Sung, a senior investment manager at Futureplay who led the deal, noted that the search landscape is shifting away from traditional portal-based models toward AI-powered answer engines. He emphasized that infrastructure capable of automatically optimizing a company’s digital assets for AI search is becoming a necessity rather than an option.
With the fresh capital, Search OS plans to advance its AI search data analytics capabilities and scale its large-scale crawling infrastructure. The company intends to expand its AI search infrastructure services to businesses operating high-volume websites — particularly in e-commerce, media, and travel — while continuing to develop technology tailored to the evolving global AI search environment.
Chul-hwa Han, CEO of Search OS, said the company’s mission is to build a platform that automates both search infrastructure and content operations, so that any business can keep pace with the AI search era without needing in-house development or marketing resources.
