Fairsquarelab Closes Series B Round to Cement Role as Institutional Digital Asset Infrastructure Player
Fairsquarelab, a digital asset infrastructure technology company, has closed a Series B funding round, reinforcing its position as a regulated infrastructure provider bridging traditional finance and digital assets.

The round was led by CKX Partners, with participation from Mirae Asset Capital, Korea Investment Partners, KOREA INVESTMENT & SECURITIES, Winvest Venture Partners, and DA Value Investment. The broad participation of established venture capital firms, securities houses, and capital companies signals strong institutional confidence in the stability and regulatory readiness of the infrastructure Fairsquarelab is building.
The company is a founding shareholder in two of Korea’s most significant digital asset consortia. It plays a central role in KDX, the tokenized securities (STO) exchange consortium led by the Korea Exchange (KRX), and in EverStable, a Korean won-denominated stablecoin project backed by major banks and conglomerates. Through both initiatives, Fairsquarelab is helping to set the standards for the country’s emerging digital financial infrastructure.
Fairsquarelab has also structured its business to proactively align with financial regulatory guidelines, with an emphasis on minimizing risk exposure for institutional partners. Its subsidiary, Korea Digital Asset Custody (KDAC), operates a custody infrastructure with Shinhan Bank, NH NongHyup Bank, Heungkuk Life Insurance, and Mirae Asset (Korbit) as participants, serving as a critical gateway for institutional investor onboarding.
Another subsidiary, Kloint — in which AI security firm S2W holds a significant stake — provides virtual asset data analytics services, including incident prevention and investigative support, to strengthen market transparency and trust.
On the global front, Fairsquarelab has successfully completed the first phase of a pilot for cross-border stablecoin payment infrastructure through Project Pax, a collaboration with Japan’s Progmat. The company is now advancing a second phase aimed at expansion across the EU and broader Asia. The effort is being developed in partnership with global players including Ripple, Chainlink, Dfns, and zkSync.
“Fairsquarelab goes beyond being a technology company — it is an institution-optimized firm that puts financial system stability and regulatory compliance first,” said Sanghun Cha, Director at CKX Partners. “Built on deep connectivity and interoperability with existing financial systems, it is well-positioned to become a core partner in the transition to on-chain finance.”
Minjun Kim, Team Lead at Korea Investment Partners, added: “The shift to on-chain finance is inevitable, and the most critical factor in that transition is trustworthy infrastructure. With a track record of verified achievements and a strong network within the financial sector, Fairsquarelab is set to play a defining role in that future.”
