VISIONARY Raises $576K Seed Round to Scale Spatial Data OS for Autonomous Driving AI

Korean spatial intelligence startup VISIONARY has closed a seed funding round of approximately $576K USD (KRW 800 million) from KAIST Venture Investment Holdings and MY Social Company(MYSC). The company plans to use the capital to further develop its spatial data operating system, PRISM, and expand its team with specialists in AI and spatial data.

PRISM is a data OS designed to automatically process and structure unstructured spatial data collected from autonomous driving and mobility environments. The platform ingests large-scale sensor data from LiDAR, cameras, and other sources, identifies high-value scenes for model training, and delivers curated datasets suited for next-generation autonomous driving AI models — including end-to-end (E2E) and Vision-Language-Action (VLA) architectures. According to the company, PRISM reduces the time required to build AI training datasets by up to 90%.

At the core of PRISM is a proprietary Data Flywheel architecture. The system continuously improves its automation performance by feeding human-verified outputs back into model training — creating a self-reinforcing loop that sharpens accuracy over time. VISIONARY is currently collaborating with Hyundai Motor, 42dot, HL Klemove, KAIST, and Seoul National University on various R&D projects, processing spatial data held by each institution into AI-ready training datasets.

With the fresh funding, VISIONARY will advance the PRISM model and ramp up hiring, while actively pursuing new customers in the autonomous driving and mobility sectors.

“Our goal is to build the essential infrastructure for spatial intelligence development through a data OS that automatically processes and structures spatial data,” said Youngseok Kim, CEO of VISIONARY. “We aim to transform the vast spatial data held by Korea’s autonomous driving and mobility industry into AI-accessible resources.”
