Kiip Corporation Raises $650K Seed Round to Power Medical Tourism Platform iipuda’s Global Marketing Push

Kiip Corporation, the operator of Korean medical tourism platform iipuda, has raised a total of approximately $650,000 (KRW 1 billion) in seed funding.

The round drew participation from Fantastic Wellness, a Hong Kong-based investment firm, along with the Busan Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (Busan CCEI), Axe Ventures, and AI-focused investment firm Unnoted.

The funding will be used to strengthen global marketing capabilities and expand local partnerships in key overseas markets, including Japan, English-speaking countries, Taiwan, and China.

iipuda connects international users seeking Korean medical services such as plastic surgery, dermatology, and dentistry with vetted domestic medical institutions. The platform currently supports four languages — Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese (Taiwan), and Simplified Chinese — and offers an in-app structure that lets users browse clinics and request consultations directly through the app.

Kiip Corporation was also selected as one of 100 companies for Google’s Changgu Program, the eighth cohort of the startup support initiative, a selection that recognized both its technical capabilities and its potential for global growth.

“Thanks to the continued support of domestic and international investors through this seed round, we’ve been able to take iipuda’s vision a step further,” said Geon Soo Park, CEO of Kiip Corporation. “We plan to focus this funding on attracting global users and expanding our network of partner clinics and hospitals, growing iipuda into the platform that connects Korean medical care with global consumers most transparently.”
