CNTTech, a South Korean fintech-focused investment firm, announced on August 10 that it has invested in Tomoarrow, a startup developing foreign-national identity verification solutions, and MakeWorks, a provider of web-based CAD services.

The investment amounts were not disclosed.
Tomoarrow is a Fintech startup developing Tomo IDV, an electronic Know Your Customer (eKYC) solution designed for verifying foreign nationals in e-commerce transactions. The company uses source data from trusted overseas institutions to authenticate foreign identities and provides a B2B SaaS service that enables domestic e-commerce platforms and payment gateway operators to onboard international customers securely and conveniently.
Tomo IDV is an API-based solution that links national identity documents with source databases by country, allowing businesses to deploy the system without building separate authentication infrastructure. Beyond identity verification, the platform supports risk management throughout the payment process. Tomoarrow plans to expand the service into a comprehensive authentication platform for global e-commerce and cross-border payment markets.
MakeWorks develops and operates CAD View, a SaaS-based web CAD service that allows users to view and edit CAD drawing files and extract drawing data directly in a web browser. The platform eliminates the need for software installation, reducing the high upfront costs and hardware requirements associated with traditional desktop CAD software.
CAD View delivers core functions frequently used in the field—such as design drawing review, editing, and data extraction—in a web environment, improving collaboration efficiency across design, production, and quality-control teams. The company is currently integrating generative AI technology to enhance the usability of drawings and technical documentation.
“Tomoarrow is building a trust-based authentication infrastructure essential for the global e-commerce environment, while MakeWorks is creating a new market through its SaaS-based CAD platform that increases operational efficiency on construction sites,” a CNTTech representative said. “We judged both companies to have differentiated technology and strong growth potential in their respective fields, which led to our investment decision.”
