WEFLO, a South Korean AI-powered mobility diagnostics company, announced on August 17 that it will participate in Commercial UAV Expo 2026, North America’s leading commercial drone trade show, from September 1 to 3 at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas.

WEFLO will exhibit in the Korea Pavilion as part of an overseas market entry support program organized by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Korea Agency for Infrastructure Technology Advancement.
At the event, WEFLO will conduct a live demonstration of equipment that inspects and calibrates a drone’s navigation system from the ground—a key component of its DRQC automated drone quality inspection solution. In particular, the company will showcase the process of measuring and calibrating the magnetometer, a critical sensor within the navigation system.
DRQC is an end-of-line (EOL) solution that automatically inspects quality before commercial shipment, after drone assembly is complete. The system comprises drivetrain inspection, navigation-system testing and calibration, and battery diagnostics. Its core value lies in quantitatively measuring and digitally recording aircraft status on the production line, replacing the traditional reliance on test flights.
Today, most drone manufacturers rely on actual test flights to verify that assembled airframes function correctly. However, as production volume grows, repeatedly flying every unit requires substantial time and manpower and is affected by external factors such as weather and available flight space. Crash and damage risks during testing, as well as variability in operator judgment, also make it difficult to maintain consistent manufacturing quality.
WEFLO is bringing quality inspection down from the air to the ground—onto the production line. Rather than flying the aircraft, DRQC analyzes condition based on data collected by each inspection device. Multimodal fusion sensors measure the state of the drivetrain, including motors and propellers; navigation sensors are tested and calibrated; and battery condition is diagnosed. Measured values are compared against normal baselines through AI-based analysis, and the inspection results are accumulated as digital quality records for each airframe. Manufacturers can manage outbound quality by a uniform standard and also use the accumulated data to trace defect causes and improve manufacturing processes.
The DRQC solution is already deployed at actual drone production sites. A domestic drone manufacturer introduced the drivetrain inspection equipment to quantitatively inspect the drivetrain during manufacturing, and since adoption the crash rate during flight testing has fallen from 20 percent to 0.2 percent. In late June, WEFLO held a roadshow in the western United States to demonstrate DRQC technology to global defense and unmanned-systems manufacturers, and is now advancing follow-on discussions for technical validation and commercial adoption of its navigation testing and calibration equipment, among other DRQC modules.
Euijung Kim, CEO of WEFLO, said, “Our goal at Commercial UAV Expo is to refine the application scope with global drone and unmanned-systems manufacturers that are currently in technical validation and adoption discussions, and to advance those conversations to proof-of-concept and actual deployment.” Kim added, “Based on this, we plan to secure overseas production-line reference cases and to scale DRQC’s global business in earnest.”
WEFLO raised a $3.65M (KRW 5.5B) Series A round in April and in June launched Flowone, an AI- and robotics-based automated quality inspection solution that supports dark-factory conversion of defense drone manufacturing processes.
Korean Mobility startups are actively pursuing technology advancement and global expansion. Autonomous-driving mobility startup Wearable AI was selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ Super-Gap Startup Project in April to advance its autonomous shuttle, and Mas Auto unveiled Korea’s first real E2E AI autonomous trailer truck at AME 2026 in August, accelerating technology demonstration.
