Uproot Company, a Korean firm operating the digital asset recurring investment solution ‘BitSaving’, announced on June 21 that it was selected as one of the top 50 finalists in Vietnam‘s largest startup competition, ‘Startup Wheel 2024’.

‘Startup Wheel 2024’ is a global startup event that brings together startups, venture capitalists, investors, and institutional representatives from around the world. It provides support including prize money, residency spaces for international startups, and comprehensive marketing strategies to facilitate entry into the Vietnamese market.

In September 2023, Uproot Company exported its patented digital asset recurring investment software to ‘Crypto Ahorro’, a specialist in digital assets based in Peru. By March 2024, it had launched the beta version of BitSaving in Peru, marking the start of its global business initiatives.

Furthermore, BitSaving Vietnam is scheduled to launch in the third quarter of 2024. The company has already completed the necessary legal reviews and partner setups for its local operations. Prior to launching the service, it has rapidly assessed the needs of local partners and customers, aiming to expand its business starting with Vietnam and eventually reaching other Southeast Asian markets like Singapore.

BitSaving has introduced a ‘Smart Piggy Bank’ that leverages blockchain on-chain data analysis to identify market overheating and opportunities, thereby automatically adjusting investment amounts. This has resulted in a performance improvement of approximately 31% over traditional fixed installment recurring investments. Following the approval of a Bitcoin spot exchange-traded fund (ETF), new sign-ups this year have tripled compared to last year, with the average monthly purchase amount per customer increasing more than tenfold.
