DeepVisions, a Korean startup developing an AI-powered solution for measuring fine dust using visual data, announced on the 23rd that it has secured 600 million KRW (approximately 450,000 USD) in pre-Series A funding from MYSC and other investors.
DeepVisions, a climate tech startup, has successfully commercialized its AI solution “VisionPlus,” which measures fine dust based on digital images. This technology is gaining attention for its ability to build a high-resolution fine dust monitoring network at a low cost by utilizing existing CCTV infrastructure, eliminating the need for expensive measurement equipment.
DeepVisions has received recognition for its innovation and business impact on the global stage, winning the CES 2024 Innovation Award. The company is currently pursuing business opportunities in Thailand, Japan, and Vietnam and plans to accelerate its global expansion with this investment.
MYSC stated, “This is a great example of how advanced AI technology can be used to solve various environmental and social problems. We expect DeepVisions’s innovative approach of replacing traditional fine dust measurement methods with AI technology to yield significant results in the market.”

With this investment, we will actively pursue global business and begin to solve the global fine dust measurement problem.”
