The Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (Gyeonggi CCEI) and SAMHWA PAINTS INDUSTRIAL (Samhwa Paints) announced on the 13th that they successfully held the “2024 Unicorn Bridge with Samhwa Paints” results-sharing event on the 12th at the Ibis Hotel in Jongno, Seoul.

The “2024 Unicorn Bridge with Samhwa Paints” program provides startups with opportunities and funding to conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) projects in collaboration with Samhwa Paints’ departments. Gyeonggi CCEI supports selected startups with tailored acceleration programs, including capacity building and investment connections, based on their growth stage.

In May, three innovative startups, Alpes, PI Solution Tech, and GRAPHENE ENG, were selected from a competitive pool of applicants with a 21:1 acceptance ratio. Over six months, these startups successfully conducted PoC projects with Samhwa Paints and received customized acceleration support from Gyeonggi CCEI.

At the results-sharing event, the selected startups presented their PoC outcomes, while Samhwa Paints’ collaborating teams shared feedback and explored future collaboration opportunities.
