GoPizza Achieves Global Milestone with Over 1,200 Outlets and $32 Million Revenue

GoPizza, a foodtech company, has announced that it now operates over 1,200 stores across seven countries including Korea, India, Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand. Last year, the company sold more than five million pizzas, generating about $32 million in revenue, and its Korean branch turned profitable for the first time in the third quarter of this year.

Initially focused on revolutionizing the pizza industry, GoPizza has developed several innovative technologies aimed at making pizza a fast food staple. These include ‘GOVEN,’ a patented oven, and ‘GOBOT STATION,’ which integrates robotic technology. Another notable innovation is the ‘AI Smart Topping Table (AI STT),’ which enhances product quality through algorithm-driven processes. The AI STT is patented in the U.S., registered with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and has additional patents pending in Korea, China, and India.

In collaboration with GS Retail, GoPizza introduced the ‘GOVEN Mini,’ enhancing ease of operation and mobility. The company’s own developed dough has also helped secure product quality, contributing to significant achievements in both domestic and international consumer markets.

These advanced food tech innovations have allowed GoPizza to execute business strategies that differentiate it from traditional dining enterprises.

Aiming to fulfill its vision of ‘The Pizza Everywhere Company,’ GoPizza has diversified its business model. Since May this year, in collaboration with GS Retail, it began entering GS25 stores, exceeding its initial target by establishing a presence in 1,056 stores across Korea as of mid-December, with expectations for continued growth in 2025. The company recently showcased Asia’s first unmanned pizza system at the newly opened GS25 store in Insadong, where robots handle the cooking and packaging of pizzas.

Additionally, following a successful partnership with CJ, which featured specialized menus in major CGV cinemas across Korea, GoPizza is expanding its reach to additional locations nationwide.

In July, GoPizza became the first pizza franchise to enter Incheon International Airport, joining its presence in other major international airports including Bengaluru, Changi, and Gimpo.

Internationally, the brand continues to experience robust growth. Since its initial entry into India, GoPizza now operates about 60 directly-managed stores and is nearing its 100th international location with ongoing expansions in Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand. Successful domestic collaborations have piqued interest from major international retail chains, leading to inquiries about partnerships and store openings.

In June, GoPizza secured a $10 million investment from CP ALL, a core subsidiary of Thailand’s largest conglomerate, CP Group. This investment has not only solidified GoPizza’s position in Thailand but also facilitated collaboration across various business aspects, from supplies to staffing and marketing.

CEO Jae-won Lim of GoPizza remarked, “Our proprietary food tech capabilities allow us to innovate not only in business models but also in enhancing the core aspects of taste and quality of an F&B brand. This year, we’ve achieved significant results, and thanks to our advanced technology, we’ve established a solid foundation for quality and service. 2024 has been a landmark year, and in 2025, we aim to deliver outstanding taste, quality, and customer experience.”
