GEOGRID Secures MYSC Investment to Expand BLOS Water Purification Globally

GEOGRID, a Korean startup specializing in smart water purification solutions for buildings, has secured investment from MYSC (MY Social Company).

GEOGRID focuses on addressing rust issues in aging pipes and improving water quality to drinking standards with its building-scale purification system. Its innovative solution, “BLOS (Building Oasis),” sterilizes, removes rust, and eliminates scale from old pipes without requiring replacements, providing potable water for everyday use.

This solution reduces the need for individual water purifiers or bottled water, helping lower carbon emissions and energy consumption. BLOS also offers real-time water quality data, enabling effective monitoring and management of both water quality and piping. GEOGRID aims to expand its BLOS solution to a wide range of infrastructures, including apartments, schools, hotels, and parks.

In November, GEOGRID made its first overseas export by delivering BLOS to Indonesia, marking the beginning of its entry into the Indonesian and Southeast Asian water purification markets.

MYSC commented, “With climate change increasing the importance of sustainable water resource management, GEOGRID’s innovative solution for improving and managing water quality in aging infrastructure has great potential for widespread adoption.”
Kim Ki-hyun, CEO of GEOGRID, said, “We are thrilled to secure this investment as we build trust in our solution and expand our market presence. With this funding, we will actively pursue global expansion and take significant steps toward solving global water quality challenges.”
