USIMSA and Superalink Operator Gadget Korea Raises $4.6M to Boost Global Reach
Korean company Gadget Korea, which operates the eSIM-based data roaming platforms USIMSA (Korean-focused) and Superalink (global-focused), has successfully closed a Series A funding round of $4.6 million (KRW 6 billion).

The funding round, valuing the company at $23 million (KRW 30 billion), was led by Murex Partners with participation from IBK, Nice Investment Partners, SK Securities, KB Securities, Cyrus Venture Investment, NBH Capital, and other financial investors. Strategic investments from international partners were also included.
Since its initial seed round in 2022, Gadget Korea has raised a total of $6.5 million (KRW 8.5 billion), including this Series A round.
The company anticipates approximately 200% growth in revenue this year compared to last year. Building on the success of its Korea-focused eSIM platform USIMSA, Gadget Korea has launched the global eSIM platform Superalink, accelerating its expansion into international markets. In recognition of its potential, the company was officially registered as a full member of the GSMA (Global System for Mobile Communications Association) in August last year.
The newly raised funds will primarily be used to strengthen its position in the domestic eSIM market, expand its global presence, and explore new business opportunities in areas such as MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operators) and IoT.
Yoo Sang-hyuk, CEO of Gadget Korea, expressed gratitude to the investors, stating, “We deeply appreciate the continued trust of our investors and are pleased to have major institutional investors participating in this Series A round. We will work closely with them to accelerate our global market expansion, focusing on the Superalink platform, and aim for significant growth by 2025.”
