South Korean company INVAIZ, a developer of AI-based customization software, has secured Seed 2 funding from Seoul Techno Holdings.
INVAIZ offers solutions that enable quick and seamless customization for a range of computer peripherals, including keyboards and mice. Unlike traditional methods requiring modifications to MCUs or firmware, INVAIZ’s proprietary technology allows manufacturers to integrate advanced features—such as gestures, macros, shortcuts, and AI—directly into their products without additional hardware changes.
The company initially developed video editing controllers and proprietary customization software. However, growing interest from global manufacturers prompted INVAIZ to pivot to a software-focused business model, allowing it to specialize further in software development and deployment.
Headquartered in Busan, INVAIZ combines expertise in both hardware (HW) and software (SW) development. The core team has been working together for six years, gaining hands-on experience across the entire development process, from HW to SW. This comprehensive know-how, coupled with a strong industry network, is a key competitive advantage.
Customization software has become a vital differentiator in the input device market, particularly for keyboards and mice. While these features significantly enhance product competitiveness, the technical, cost, and time challenges of in-house development often deter manufacturers. To address this, INVAIZ has been conducting PoC (proof of concept) trials with Chinese manufacturers and plans to sign an MOU with a local factory by late 2024 to begin full-scale implementation. As global companies like Logitech and Razer increasingly incorporate AI into customization software, INVAIZ is poised to stand out with its forward-looking technological innovations.
With the recent funding, INVAIZ aims to accelerate its efforts to enhance its technology and expand collaborations with international manufacturers.
Junseok Lee, CEO of INVAIZ, stated, “We are entering an era where software is a critical competitive advantage for input devices like keyboards and mice. With this investment, we will focus on advancing our AI-based customization software and expanding our market presence, enabling more manufacturers to easily integrate our technology into their products.”
