IDESIGN LAB, the global Korean language learning app ‘FunPik’ operator, announced on the 17th that it had secured investment from The Invention Lab. IDESIGN LAB raised a total of USD 380,000 (KRW 500 million) in this bridge funding round.

Jinyoung Kim, CEO of The Invention Lab, commented, “We aim to support FunPik’s aggressive global expansion by connecting the service with various local companies, leveraging the high demand for Korean language education in Southeast Asia, particularly in the Vietnamese market.”
FunPik recently surpassed 900,000 downloads worldwide and is set to launch its new 3.0 version by the end of January.
