Korean AI-powered B2B mental healthcare platform Clify has raised additional funding from Dunamu & Partners, though the investment amount remains undisclosed.
The company leverages its proprietary AI multimodal analysis technology called “FAV (Face & Voice),” developed in partnership with psychiatrists, to assess employees’ mental well-being through non-verbal cues. By analyzing biometric signals from video, voice, and eye movements, the AI system can detect signs of anxiety, depression, and stress within just one minute, achieving an 80% accuracy rate in mental state assessment.
Clify has integrated its FAV technology with Douzone Bizon‘s ERP platform, enabling companies to systematically monitor their workforce’s mental health. The startup also partners with HappyWings, SK Group’s employee welfare division, to deliver tailored mental healthcare services across the conglomerate’s subsidiaries. To date, Clify serves 128 companies throughout South Korea.
The platform is expanding its reach through strategic alliances with leading insurers like DB Life and KB Life to offer AI-driven mental care solutions for older adults. Clify is also working with SK Telecom to enhance diagnostic capabilities for social anxiety disorders. Beyond core services, the company has built an ecosystem of wellness solutions encompassing stress-relief beverages, tea subscriptions, sleep management tools, therapeutic music, and aromatherapy products.
Dunamu & Partners, which initially backed Clify in early 2024, chose to double down on its investment after witnessing the company’s user-focused execution and string of successful client acquisitions. The venture capital firm was particularly impressed by CEO Hong Joo-yeol’s track record as a serial entrepreneur who previously built and sold meal kit startup TastyNine.
“We’re shifting how companies view human capital management—from a cost center to a strategic investment that drives productivity,” explained CEO Hong. “Employee mental health has evolved beyond a nice-to-have perk into a mission-critical asset that directly impacts business outcomes. Having Dunamu & Partners as a strategic partner gives us the support we need to scale our innovative approach to workplace wellness.”
