The Hyoosik Secures $14.8M Series B+ Funding to Enhance AI-driven Hospitality Platform

South Korea’s hospitality solution startup The Hyoosik has secured an approximately USD 14.8 million(KRW 20 billion) Series B+ investment from the TS Scale-up Proptech Fund, managed by TS Investment. With this round, The Hyoosik’s cumulative funding has reached approximately USD 31.7 million(KRW 42.8 billion). The fund’s major limited partners include leading domestic financial groups, asset management firms, and family offices.

The Hyoosik has established a stable position in the hospitality market through a “full-stack” business model that internalizes the core value chain, including Hotel PM(Property Management), construction, operations, and IT solutions. To date, the company has operated a total of 248 small and mid-sized hotels and tourist hotels. In particular, it has built a foundation for strategic collaborations with global hotel brands to penetrate the two- to three-star tourist hotel segment.

The company’s competitiveness stems from its innovative IT automation technologies and data-driven approach. Leveraging nationwide hotel operation data accumulated since its founding, combined with AI-based automation, The Hyoosik has completed an unmanned lodging operation model that minimizes front desk staff requirements, thereby spearheading the industry’s digital transformation. Additionally, it has strengthened its leadership in the Hotel PM business through its Hotel Valuation Model (HVM) and Expected Sales Analysis System (ESAS), while generating new revenue streams via its AI Consulting System (AICS), successfully anchoring its data solutions business.

In 2024, The Hyoosik posted consolidated revenue of USD 70.6 million(KRW 95.3 billion) and operating profit of USD 7.8 million(KRW 10.5 billion). The company expects its key financial indicators to more than double in 2025. With the new capital, The Hyoosik plans to expand its Front Outsourcing (FO) business, enhance collaboration with asset managers to scale its portfolio of two- to three-star tourist hotels, and accelerate entry into global markets.

Lee Dae-yeol, Managing Director of the TS Scale-up Proptech Fund, commented, “For midscale and below hotel operators in the domestic hospitality market to achieve economies of scale, differentiated strategies tailored to each property are essential. This requires not just traditional operations but also data-driven planning, strategic execution, and operational efficiency through IT solutions.”

He added “Through this fund, we aim to support The Hyoosik’s business sophistication as a current leader in the midscale hotel market, while aligning with strategic financial investors among our LP base to help realize its long-term vision.”

Furthermore, Lee noted  “We plan to establish additional funds to support The Hyoosik’s meaningful expansion into the midscale and higher-tier hotel markets.”
