StudioLab Wins Best of Innovation Award at CES 2026 in XR & Spatial Computing Category

AI-based content generation company StudioLab announced on November 5th that it has won the Best of Innovation Award in the XR & Spatial Computing category at CES 2026.

The CES Innovation Award recognizes companies showcasing innovative products and technologies in the global IT and consumer electronics industry. Only products achieving the highest scores in technology, design, and innovation earn the prestigious ‘Best of Innovation’ distinction.

The award-winning ‘GENCY PB’ combines AI robotics-based intelligent shooting systems with content generation technology. It delivers an immersive interactive experience where visitors can try AI photo shooting robots at exhibition sites and instantly view their results.

StudioLab launched ‘GENCY Studio’ in Seongsu-dong with SKT earlier this year. Through partnerships with global brands including Busan Station, BMW, and Galderma, the company is transforming simple photo documentation into an integrated offline experience platform that merges technology, space, and content.

Users enjoy dynamic and sophisticated shooting experiences that stand apart from traditional static photo booths. Physical AI enables automated motion and diverse productions, making the shooting process entertaining while delivering three-dimensional, artistic results that achieve high satisfaction rates.

StudioLab is accelerating its business expansion with a ‘GENCY Studio’ showroom on the first floor of the Textile Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The space welcomes corporate and brand representatives as well as general visitors to experience robot-based shooting solutions firsthand, with expansion plans targeting fashion, entertainment, retail, and other industries.

“Shooting robots represent both technological innovation and a new cultural experience,” said Jae-young Lee, Director at StudioLab. “We’re evolving photography beyond simple documentation into a new experiential medium that connects brands and spaces.”

Founded in 2021, StudioLab is successfully developing technology with support from the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA)’s Global SaaS Promotion Project (GSIP). The company has been revolutionizing content production methods in the fashion industry through its AI-based fashion detail page automatic generation service ‘GENCY.’

The company has now won CES Innovation Awards three consecutive years—the Best Innovation Award in AI in 2024, the Innovation Award in Robotics in 2025, and the Best of Innovation Award in 2026—establishing itself as a two-time Best Innovation Award recipient.

With this recognition, StudioLab plans to pioneer the platformization of shooting technology and strengthen its influence in the global photo and content market through physical AI.
