Three Busan CCEI-Backed Startups Win CES 2026 Innovation Awards

The Busan Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (Busan CCEI) announced that three companies from its ‘BOUNCE Accelerating’ startup program have won Best of Innovation and Innovation Awards at CES 2026, the world’s largest consumer electronics show taking place in Las Vegas this January.

The award recipients are CrossHub (Best of Innovation Award for blockchain-based fourth-generation hybrid identity authentication technology), DataFlare (Innovation Award for AI-powered vessel identification and carbon emission monitoring platform), and CIT (Innovation Award for ultra-flat copper deposition glass technology for semiconductor packaging).

CrossHub and DataFlare’s achievements are particularly significant as current participants in the Busan CCEI’s 2025 BOUNCE Smart Maritime & Fintech Accelerating (BOUNCE AC) program, where they received customized support specifically designed for CES competition. CrossHub boosted its brand credibility through comprehensive domestic and international PR support aimed at enhancing global recognition and building investment foundations. DataFlare strengthened its global pitching capabilities through company diagnostics-based investment strategy development, IR design refinement, and professional English translation support. CIT, a graduate of the Busan CCEI’s 2023 Pre-Startup Package and 2024 BOUNCE Ultra-Gap Accelerating programs, has now won CES Innovation Awards two consecutive years (2025-2026), validating both its technological excellence and market viability.

BOUNCE AC is a strategic industry-focused startup development program the Busan CCEI has operated since 2024. The program has selected and supported 10 companies to date—five in the ultra-gap sector last year and five in smart maritime and fintech sectors this year. Having three companies win CES Best of Innovation and Innovation Awards within just two years represents a remarkable achievement, demonstrating the program’s effectiveness in delivering concrete global-stage results in a compressed timeframe.

The Pre-BOUNCE Platform, which encompasses this program, operates as an open innovation platform that continuously discovers and develops aspiring entrepreneurs and startups throughout the year. Since its launch last year, the Busan CCEI has fostered sustained startup growth through Pre-BOUNCE by providing ongoing mentoring, monthly programming, and accelerating services.

Hani Jang, Program Manager at the Busan CCEI, commented, “Having companies discovered and developed through BOUNCE AC win CES Best of Innovation and Innovation Awards exemplifies the program’s real-world impact. We remain committed to actively supporting technology-driven startups as they scale globally through international expansion assistance and investment connections.”
