RiskX, a South Korean fintech startup applying AI to the structured derivatives market, has closed a seed investment round from Seoul Techno Holdings.

The company is developing technology to make the pricing, risk analysis, product explanation, comparison, and investor communication of structured derivatives more precise and accessible. Its work spans both institutional and retail financial services.
On the B2B side, RiskX offers data-driven pre-RFQ technology for financial institutions, helping them evaluate products and forecast demand before the formal quote-request stage. The platform supports end-to-end digitization of structured derivatives workflows — from product design and pricing review to risk analysis and the preparation of disclosure materials.
On the B2C side, the company is advancing two distinct investment experiences. The first targets ELS investors, helping them better understand and compare product structures, return conditions, loss scenarios, and early redemption terms through a more intuitive online interface. The second is an on-chain investment experience designed for XRP holders, offering structured investment access within a decentralized environment to make complex financial products more approachable for digital asset holders.
“RiskX stands out for its ambition to simultaneously improve operational efficiency for financial institutions and the actual investment experience for retail users — all built on AI,” said the CEO of Seoul Techno Holdings. “We saw strong scalability potential on both the B2B and B2C sides.”
“This investment is meaningful in that it validates RiskX’s potential to address the complexity and inefficiency of the structured derivatives market through AI,” said Janghyeok Yoon, CEO of RiskX. “On the B2B front, we will work to make structured derivatives workflows more sophisticated and efficient for financial institutions. On the B2C side, we will focus on delivering a simpler, more intuitive investment experience for both ELS investors and XRP holders.”
