‘All My Anecdotes’ Raises $4.86M Seed Round to Accelerate Virtual Idol Group OWIS and Expand IP Business

‘All My Anecdotes’ (AMA), a South Korean virtual entertainment company, has raised approximately $4.86 million (KRW 6.9 billion) in a seed funding round. SBVA led the round, with participation from Korea Investment Partners, Reventures, Aurora World, and Uncore.

AMA was co-founded by Jay Kim, a former Warner Music executive with over 20 years of experience in artist production, music business, and global partnerships across the K-pop industry, alongside Haein Lee, creative director of KISS OF LIFE. The company’s debut virtual idol group, OWIS, launched its first album MUSEUM, with the title track music video surpassing 6 million views within seven days of release.

The company plans to use the proceeds to accelerate OWIS’s growth, strengthen its virtual IP-based content production capabilities, and build the foundation for technology, marketing, and global expansion. AMA aims to develop a sustainable virtual entertainment business model by refining every stage of the pipeline — from artist development and virtual content production to fan engagement and IP commercialization. In December 2025, AMA was selected for the TIPS R&D General Track, led by Reventures, and has since been advancing AI-powered, non-optical motion capture technology for virtual idol production.

Through its partnership with Aurora World — a company with strong capabilities in character merchandise, toys, and global licensing — AMA expects to expand the OWIS IP into character goods, licensing deals, and secondary business opportunities leveraging Aurora World’s global distribution network. On the marketing front, the company plans to grow the OWIS fandom through worldbuilding content, fan-interactive live events, and pop-up stores.

“Virtual idols are gaining attention as a new wave in K-pop, and OWIS has been drawing positive market responses in terms of musical quality and live performance,” said Nayoung Jeong, Senior Investment Manager at SBVA. “AMA is a team with proven capabilities in the global K-pop market, and we look forward to seeing the company’s potential to expand its business around virtual IP.”

“This investment is meaningful in that it validates the potential and scalability of the virtual entertainment business model we are building at AMA” said Jay Kim, CEO of AMA. “Starting with OWIS’s debut album, we will grow into a next-generation entertainment company that combines story, technology, content, and brand.”
