WebareSoft, a South Korean specialist in API management and security, has secured a Pre-Series A investment round from Horizon Investment.

Horizon Investment focuses on identifying globally competitive companies in the ICT and cloud sectors. The firm cited WebareSoft’s technical differentiation and market scalability — centered on its API integrated management solution APINEX and SSL certificate management solution CertBear — as key factors behind its investment decision. WebareSoft plans to use the funding to expand its solutions across a range of industries, including the financial sector, and to accelerate its entry into global markets.
Founded in 2021 by a team of core researchers from TmaxSoft, WebareSoft has been gaining traction rapidly. The company has been consecutively selected as a data voucher supplier by South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT, chosen for the TIPS program, and participated in the KB Starters Singapore program. It has also been building its international footprint through an MOU with global AI firm Staple AI and a partnership with KGlobalHub.
“This investment from Horizon Investment reaffirms WebareSoft’s technological capabilities and global growth potential,” said Younghwi Jang, CEO of WebareSoft. “We will establish ourselves as a trusted API management platform company in the financial sector and global markets, with APINEX and CertBear at the forefront.”
