Wonderful Raises $550M Series C to Build the Enterprise AI OS
As companies roll out AI tool by tool, department by department, they risk recreating the same sprawl that plagued the SaaS era — except this time with AI systems that don’t talk to each other. Once AI proves itself in one part of a business, it tends to spread fast, and without a shared foundation to run on, that spread gets hard to manage or govern.

A startup betting the answer is a shared “AI operating system” has raised a large round. Amsterdam-based Wonderful has closed a $550 million Series C at a $5 billion valuation, the company announced. The Wonderful AI OS is a shared layer that coordinates agents, workflows, AI-native applications, enterprise context, integrations, and governed execution across an organization. It’s open and model-agnostic, designed to work with a company’s existing tech stack rather than forcing a rebuild every time the industry shifts to a new model, according to the company.
The platform ships four product lines: managed workflows that automate complex end-to-end processes, productivity agents that support employee decision-making, AI-native applications that complement or replace legacy software, and conversational agents for customer service and growth. Products can be deployed standalone or combined in the same workflow, sharing governance, security, and orchestration across the platform. Wonderful’s forward-deployed engineers work directly with customers to get a first use case into production, then hand off knowledge so enterprises can increasingly build and run the platform themselves. It can be deployed on any cloud, including on-premise.
Wonderful started out as a customer-service AI agent company. At its Series B in March 2026, it was described as deploying AI agents into call centers and support desks for telecom, financial services, manufacturing, and healthcare clients, handling tens of thousands of inquiries a day at an 80% resolution rate. This Series C marks its first pitch as something much broader — an “AI OS” spanning workflow automation, AI-native apps, and agent orchestration — expanding from a single function into the whole enterprise.
Founded in 2025, Wonderful closed its seed round just four months after launch and has grown quickly since. Six months after a $150 million Series B that valued it at $2 billion, the company has more than doubled its valuation to $5 billion. Headcount grew from 350 to 650 over the same period, and the company now operates in more than 35 markets. CEO Bar Winkler and CTO Roey Lalazar co-founded the company.
The round was led by Insight Partners, with new participation from Salesforce as a strategic investor. Existing backers Index Ventures, IVP, Vine Ventures, 9Yards, and Bessemer Venture Partners also returned. The funding will go toward product development and expanding Wonderful’s global deployment teams.
The enterprise AI platform race
Wonderful’s “AI OS” pitch closely tracks the playbook of Palantir Technologies’ AIP (Artificial Intelligence Platform): a unified platform rather than a loose bundle of tools, forward-deployed engineers embedded with customers, and proof in mission-critical deployments. Wonderful follows the same model, sending its own engineers to get a first use case into production before handing off capability. Palantir, though, is a very different scale — a publicly traded company worth roughly $400 billion.
Among startups at a closer stage, Relevance AI is the closest match. The San Francisco- and Sydney-based company pitches building “AI teammates” that get deployed across an organization, though its $24 million Series A in May 2025 puts it far behind Wonderful in scale. In the customer-service space where Wonderful got its start, Cognigy is widely cited as a direct rival — a conversational and generative AI agent platform for large contact centers, now operating as a brand under CX vendor NiCE, which acquired it.
