Korea Investment Partners led the round, joined by HG Initiative, S2L Partners, Evergreen Investment Partners, NBH Capital, and JCH Investment. The company’s cumulative funding now stands at 17.7 billion won (approximately USD 13.5 million).

The company’s profitability and growth trajectory since pivoting to the real estate sector earned investor confidence. Zari Company recorded 12.5 billion won (approximately USD 9.5 million) in revenue and 750 million won (approximately USD 570,000) in operating profit in 2025. Revenue grew more than 60 percent year-on-year following the company’s turn to profitability in 2024. The recurring monthly rental management demand provides a stable revenue structure.

Zaritalk is a rental and deposit management platform serving 6 million tenants and 700,000 landlords. The platform manages more than 740,000 registered buildings and 2 million units. Landlords access an ERP suite covering rent invoices, payment collection, and contract management. Tenants receive card-payment services (ZariPay), rent refund processing, resident reviews, and short-term rental options.

The resident review feature, which displays authentic testimonials from actual residents, has become an essential resource for apartment hunters. Users can browse strengths and weaknesses of apartments, studio units, officetels, and multi-family buildings, alongside neighborhood details. While ratings and reviews have become standard across food delivery, e-commerce, and lodging, the real estate market has lagged in digitalization. Zaritalk addresses information asymmetry problems, including jeonse fraud, that have plagued Korean renters.

“Rental deposits and jeonse represent nearly all assets for many people, yet information asymmetry has enabled frequent fraud,” said Zari Company CEO Park Byeong-jong. “Zaritalk will continue building a trust infrastructure that benefits both landlords and tenants through our network.”
