MeTown, a Korean startup specializing in hyperrealistic neural rendering technology, has received seed funding from CNTTech. MeTown has developed AI technology that can digitize products sold on e-commerce platforms into 3D within just 1 to 2 hours, eliminating the need for a professional 3D designer. With this technology, it launched the ‘EVOVA 3D Showroom’ in the second quarter, which brings a 3D experience to the users of e-commerce platforms and product brands.
The ‘EVOVA 3D Showroom’ uses AI to render customer products in high-quality 3D. Unlike traditional 3D industry solutions that rely on manual labor to build product pages, the ‘EVOVA 3D Showroom’ drastically reduces production costs and time while maintaining exceptional quality. Additionally, it provides not only 3D files but also a plug-and-play feature that allows the 3D viewer to be directly integrated into a client’s website or app.
Jeon Sang-bin, CEO of MeTown, shared, “MeTown is entering the market with talented individuals skilled in commercializing technology. We’re innovating the e-commerce industry with hyperrealistic neural rendering technology, and we also offer 3D virtual fitting solutions for online retailers. Moving forward, we’re committed to developing more practical solutions and bringing them to market.”
