The XR (Extended Reality) production solutions company ‘SOULX’, specializing in empowering creators, has secured seed funding from the Jeju Creative Economy Innovation Center (Jeju CCEI) and MY Social Company (MYSC).

SOULX offers XR production solutions designed to give creators freedom of space and expression. In the short term, the company aims to enable non-experts to easily produce high-quality XR content. In the long term, it seeks to foster an environment where creators can freely innovate, ultimately expanding the content creation market.
Jeju CCEI anticipates significant growth potential for SOULX, considering its advanced technology and the expanding XR market. By leveraging AI and XR technologies, SOULX is expected to reduce content production costs and time, driving innovation and unlocking new opportunities in the rapidly growing media sector.
In April, Jeju CCEI, in partnership with MYSC, was selected as the first fund manager for the Korea Fund of Funds in Jeju through the Ministry of SMEs and Startups‘ investment program. Acting as General Partners (GP), Jeju CCEI and MYSC have established a fund worth approximately $2.6 million, with contributions from Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, the Korea Fund of Funds, Kakao, and others as Limited Partners (LP). This fund is dedicated to investing in early-stage startups outside the Seoul metropolitan area.
