Kigle Surpasses $21M in Cumulative Revenue with Cocobi IP, 95% from Overseas Markets
Kids content developer Kigle announced it achieved cumulative revenue of $21 million (KRW 30 billion) in November.

Kigle is a company that provides global services through mobile apps and new media videos utilizing its original IP ‘Cocobi’. Cocobi, a baby dinosaur character, has surpassed 150 million cumulative global app downloads and has secured over 12 million YouTube subscribers. The content is offered in multiple languages including Korean, English, Spanish, Indonesian, Chinese, and Japanese, and is loved by children worldwide in countries such as the United States, Brazil, Indonesia, India, Japan, and Mexico.
Yongsu Kim, CEO, explained, “We pivoted from an outsourcing-focused business to a self-service startup when we secured our first investment in mid-2019. Today, 90% of our total revenue comes from Cocobi IP content, with 95% generated from overseas markets.”
He added, “Next year, we plan to introduce new original IPs to the market as we pursue even greater growth.”
Founded in 2015, Kigle initially operated external IP licensing businesses including Pororo, Tayo, and Robocar Poli. After securing Pre-A investment in 2020, the company shifted its focus to original character Cocobi and launched global app and video operations. In July 2024, Kigle raised $1.4 million (KRW 2 billion) in Series A funding from Union Investment Partners and KC Investment Partners, bringing total cumulative investment to $2.5 million (KRW 3.5 billion).
Kigle recently received the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award in the youth enterprise category at the 2025 Venture Startup Promotion Merit Awards, recognizing its achievements in expanding K-Kids content globally.
