BAT Secures $5.2M Series A to Advance AI solutions, Expanding Global e-Commerce Infra and Launching PB Brand
Korean brand scaleup company BAT has secured $5.2 million (7.5 billion KRW) in Series A funding to strengthen its position as a growth partner for brands seeking sustainable expansion.

The investment round was led by major domestic institutional investors including Hana Securities and K2 Investment. With this capital injection, BAT plans to evolve beyond its traditional role as a comprehensive brand agency into what it calls a “K-Brand Scaleup Company,” combining proprietary AI solutions, data analytics capabilities, and global marketing expertise to drive tangible brand growth.
BAT achieved profitability in 2024 with revenues of approximately $58.8 million (85.3 billion KRW). According to preliminary 2025 results, while revenue growth has stabilized, operating profit margins expanded significantly, demonstrating clear improvements in profitability. This reflects the company’s strategic pivot toward high-value projects and operational efficiency.
The company has elevated its marketing capabilities through the development of an “AI Agent” powered by proprietary algorithms. This AI solution integrates with BAT’s unified workspace platform “AEer,” automating and optimizing media operations while providing real-time performance analysis and improvement recommendations to maximize operational efficiency.
BAT’s performance in K-beauty marketing has been particularly remarkable. The beauty division’s revenue skyrocketed nearly fivefold, from $2.5 million (3.6 billion KRW) in 2024 to $124 million (18 billion KRW) in the 2025 preliminary results. The company currently supports the domestic and international scaleup of over 35 major brands, including 12 Olive Young private label brands, Dr.G, BIODANCE, and Whipped, rapidly expanding its market influence.
The investment will be deployed toward advancing AI solutions, expanding global e-commerce infrastructure, and launching proprietary private brand products based on data insights. Having already internalized operational capabilities for global channels like Amazon and TikTok Shop, BAT plans to introduce new global private brands annually to secure additional growth engines.
“2025 was a year when we went beyond simple growth to establish a profitable structure based on AI technology, laying the foundation as a scaleup company,” said Junkyu Park, CEO of BAT. “By combining our proprietary AI agent solutions with scaleup expertise, we aim to achieve unicorn status with a corporate valuation of $689 million (1 trillion KRW) by 2030.”
BAT is headquartered in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and consists of a 200-person team of specialists providing integrated solutions from brand strategy consulting to IMC campaigns, influencer marketing, and performance marketing.
